Ript was born from the idea that there should be a way to “rip” images and text from the web and your computer as easily as you can rip ideas from your favorite magazines. The act of “ripping” in the virtual world should be just as simple and satisfying.
We are a team dedicated to building software for women that is both playful and purposeful. We built Ript for those in our lives who are the chief purchasing officers, archivists, planners, connectors and organizers of the family, but we think anyone will love it. We worked and, (sometimes), fought hard to give you an easy, yet flexible way to arrange and share what you ripped.
Aside from the people pictured here, who were intimately involved in creating Ript, we had an amazing amount of help from many other talented people, both inside and outside of Oxygen. As we grew Ript from a simple whiteboard drawing into working software, their feedback, guidance and assistance was indispensable to us and has made Ript a much better product.
